I started this blog the same way I’ve started all the others that I eventually quit on. Overthinking creeps in as it always does, and I can’t post anything unless it’s perfect. And nothing ever is. 

I had high expectations for Portland, Maine, a trip that has been on my bucket list for ages, but I didn’t expect to feel quite like a character walking through a Hallmark movie.
